What We Do - Introduction

The Skills for Care South East Regional Committees contribute to the improvement of social care and social work education and training.

Each of Skills for Care's Regional Committees reflects the make-up of the national Skills for Care board, with a majority of members drawn from networks of independent and statutory sector employers. Other members represent service users and carers, staff groups and training interests.

Employers in the South East region are advised to contact their regional office to be put in touch with the appropriate representative on the committee, to be kept up to date with developments.
